Welcome to my genealogy pages.

On my father's side of the family, the surnames I am currently researching are MARGOLIS (originally MARGOLINSKY), ROSENGOLD, NIEDZWIETSKI, MAURICE (originally CHERACHOFF), CLEMENTS and SOLOMONS. Most of these families came to England from Poland, some from Filipow in the province of Suwalki.

My mother's ancestors are mainly from Yorkshire, particularly concentrated in the Wath-upon-Dearne area, but some have roots in Lincolnshire, Lancashire and Nottinghamshire. The main surnames I am researching on this side of the family are LIGHTLEY, BAYES, ROBSON, WHITE, BAILIFF, REDFERN, ELLIS, RAWLINSON, MALLINDER, GUEST, HEELEY, KENWORTHY and GREAVES.

You can start from my complete list of surnames, or a list of people appearing in my family tree. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can browse my family tree. There is also a collection of genealogy links I have found useful.

If you find anything of interest and would like to know more, or think you have any information that might be of interest to me, then please e-mail me or sign my guestbook.
